Genia
Genia, has completed her B.Mus degree many many years ago and has been teaching in Vivo for almost 20 years. Altogether she has more than 40 years of teaching experience. Her students range from the young to adults, beginners to AMUS, LMUS. She’s very familiar with AMEB (Australian Music Exam Board) and ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Many of her students have very high achievement. Genia is experienced and expert in Russian methodical teaching. Her exceptional Technic and extensive knowledge in piano leads her students to great success when preparing for performances, musical exams and international competitions.
Sammie
Sammie is a singer and songwriter, who is also classically trained in piano and violin. After completion of his Grade 8 on both instruments, Sammie went on to graduate from the Queensland Conservatorium with a Bachelor of Pop Music Major in Vocal. Proficient in music production and performance, Sammie continues to perform at various venues and weddings. He has recently completed his Graduate Certificate in Music Studies, specializing in vocal performance. Sammie has been teaching with Vivo College of Music for over five years.
Christine
After graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with Bachelor Degree, Christine has been teaching over 15 years from beginners to AMUS piano students. Christine also has been playing the violin, viola when she was primary school as a hobby and teaching violin, viola for beginners. She also has degree of Kinder Music therefore she working really well with very young kids which is help little young kids keep interested in music and instrument.
Joanna
Joanna was Born in Taiwan, she came to Brisbane for secondary and tertiary education. She started piano and theory tutoring career while studying Bachelor of Music majoring classical piano performance in Griffith University Queensland Conservatorium of Music. After graduating from Con in 2004, then Graduation Diploma of Education (secondary music and LOTE) in UQ in 2012, Jojo have been working in state schools teaching primary classroom music as well as both primary and secondary Chinese. Jojo worked at VIVO 10 years ago and now love to be back with VIVO as a piano teacher and accompanist to continue her love to music and piano education.”
Felicity
Felicity graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music (Honours) under Dr. Robert Davidson. She studied cello performance at UQ and was awarded a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence and a Dean’s Scholar Award. Felicity has studied cello and piano since age eight and studied harpsichord extensively. Felicity learned cello from David Lale, Matthew Kinmont and Patrick Murphy. She achieved her AMusA (cello) in 2014 and is currently piano for AMusA. Felicity is an active orchestral and chamber musician and has played cello, oboe and cor anglais in various Queensland Youth Orchestra groups for ten years, with seven years experience as a cellist in Queensland Youth Symphony. She was Associate Principal cellist in the UQ Symphony Orchestra. She has four years’ experience teaching students from age 4 to 75. Felicity’s especial interests are music theory, aural skills and music technology. She spends all her spare time composing electronic music and chamber music.
